Guam Weddings

The month of June has been a traditional month for weddings. But not all weddings are traditional.
If you read Passion's Race, you know that one of the characters got married on Two Lovers Point in the small white chapel of the Northern cliff line of Guam facing the shimmering Philippine Sea. It's a magical place that draws locals and Japanese tourists to say their vows as the sun sets into the sea.
The legend says two lovers--forbidden to be together--jump to their deaths from those very cliffs, making Two Lovers Point a sacred eternal place for love.
Lush flowers, formal attire, and white flip-flops accompany the island music as the ceremony takes place. Family and friends gather on the steps that lead up to the chapel and the spot where the two lovers jumped.
The reception takes place overlooking magnificent Tumon Bay--a view unlike anything else. Tables loaded with island fare, music, and a night of dancing round out the evening before the couple escapes to be alone.
